Often we only see the final product of labour, which inevitably creates the illusion of a linear narrative. shards exposes the process of scientific, experimental research through informal language and visual repetition.

Images were acquired throughout the artist’s master thesis. A self-organized exhibition was put on at the artist’s home. 100s of images similar to the ones shown here were mounted in the corner of a room engulfing the viewer and creating a shared, strained, embodied experience.
